FAQ

Commercial Flooring Questions

What types of commercial flooring do you install?

Epoxy and other resin floors, polished and sealed concrete, urethane cement, quartz and flake floors, specialty coatings (ESD, novolac, secondary containment, deck coatings), integral cove base, line striping, and carpet tile and LVT. We also handle the repairs and prep under the floor: joint filling, crack and spall repair, moisture mitigation and resurfacing.

How much does commercial flooring cost per square foot?

It depends on the system, the condition of the slab and the size of the job. As a guide, high-traffic epoxy runs about $3.50 to $10 per square foot, polished concrete about $2.25 to $8, flake floors $7.50 to $9, quartz about $15 and urethane cement about $21. Integral cove base is about $15 per linear foot. Larger jobs land at the low end of each range. A site walk sets the real number.

How do I know which floor is right for my building?

Start with how the space is used: the traffic (forklifts, carts, foot traffic), the chemicals and temperatures it sees, how it is cleaned and how long you can be shut down. We walk the site, check the concrete and recommend the simplest floor that will hold up.

Can you repair my existing floor instead of replacing it?

Often, yes. Cracked joints, spalls, worn traffic lanes and faded striping can usually be repaired, and a coating that is still well bonded can often be recoated. If the old coating is peeling or the slab has a moisture problem, it has to come off first. We will tell you which one you have after the site walk.

Can you work while my facility stays open?

Yes. Most of our commercial projects are in occupied buildings. We phase the work by area and schedule nights and weekends so you keep operating.

Where do you install commercial flooring?

We are based in Plano, Texas and work across Dallas–Fort Worth, all of Texas and nationwide.
